Aśka is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and video producer, working in the non-profit sector. She’s interested in exploring pressing global issues, including climate change, global access to water, economic justice, human rights, and migration, among others.

Her most recent project, ‘Water is Coming’, is a short documentary portrait of a man living on the frontlines of the climate crisis in the Sundarbans region in South Bangladesh. The film is now available to stream on WaterBear.
